I currently own my own business specializing in Editorial, Fine Art and Event photography.
I have been working as an artist / photographer /mixed media artist producing prints to be used as art in galleries, brochures, magazines or online web pages. I also specialize in travel and event photography, traveling to various locations in order to obtain high quality images for clients.
Much of my focus is placed on objects or places, and how they have been affected by industrialization and change. I am particularly drawn to the peculiar or loneliness of an image. I like to bring people back to the point of where it all went wrong, to make them think a little about what is really important in life, and question the choices we are making. I am also an an avid lover of nature, slow food, and social photography. Images that tell us something about who we are, where we have been, or where we are going as a society. What mistakes did we make, and how is it affecting us?
Photography enables me to encompass all of these things by allowing me to answer these questions inside of my own head. Life is bigger than a one dimensional moment, but often times we can't make sense of it until we can step outside of it and look back. The truths are sometimes lying right in front of us, often reflected in images.
